The inaugural NeoEd Education team was formed in response to the need to establish an online learning experience for ourselves and our colleagues in response to the COVID-19 restrictions. Some of us had been thinking about a tele-learning approach for some time with recent events providing the necessary nudge.
We are all presently working within the Grace Centre for Newborn Care at the Children’s Hospital Westmead which is based in Western Sydney, Australia.
Our initial priority is to maintain the engagement of Neonatal Staff with education programs which is reflected in this site acting as a springboard to the Zoom© platform where subscribers can listen to presentations, ask questions and interact. So far the interest level has been high.
Our future may well lie in the realm of podcasts and other content to supplement our current activities. Stay tuned……
